Pearl Tillman is an Eastern Shoshone tribal elder and a deeply traditional beadwork artist whose work reflects patience, heritage, and community pride. Pearl learned to bead through a strong line of Shoshone relatives—watching, listening, and absorbing the craft from an early age. She also watched how to make buckskin as a child, drawn to the art itself and the way it carries story forward.

Beading came naturally to Pearl, and she stayed with it—refining her skill over time into the kind of workmanship you can feel in every row. Today, she remains an outstanding artist in the community, using her beadwork both as income and as inspiration for others.

On the Oregon trail the Eastern Shoshone showed Franz Fredrick a generosity that built our family's future. 130 years later, Double R Western exists to return that favor. We aren't just selling T-shirts we are funding restoration and food sovereignty for the Eastern Shoshone and Arapaho through the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Initiative. Stand for something Bigger. The return of Boy-Zahn: The Buffalo Return

In the Eastern Shoshone language: Boy-Zhan Bi-Den" (or Boy-zhan) translates to "Buffalo Return", representing a significant initiative to restore wild bison to the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. Buffalo are sacred to the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho. We support their restoration efforts—every purchase helps renew land and feed the herd.
